I started off making the spider mum and then played for a while before ending up with this. I find cards these days have gotten too noisy! It's like let's see how much "stuff" I can cram on this card. I tried rhinestones on the yellow cutouts, and a splashy ribbon bow, but finally I thought the focal point is the flower and too much stuff only detracts from the flower. I haven't put the sentiment on yet as I usually leave it off until I decide for sure the purpose of the card but it was made with Mother's day in mind. I embossed an extra flower and used that to cut out the yellow flowers. The velvet leaves were purchased. I curled the spider mum's petals with the end of a paint brush. The flower centre is coiled felt. Tell me what you think of me not adding black rhinestones to the centres of the yellow flowers.

You've made a beautiful card. I love the cut out embossing! And I think you could add black rhinestones to the yellow flowers but if I did that then I would probably leave off the ribbon loops at the top and maybe just use a folded ribbon at the bottom corner (where the loop tails arenow). Then it might not get too busy in the area of the flowers. There's my 2 cents worth for ya. LOL

Very nice card all around. I love this EB and your idea of cutting around the flowers is great. If it were me, I would just do the center raised parts with a black painty pen.
